The second weekend 9-10.9.2006

During the weekend I went to Dresden with some AIESEC trainees from Berlin. They were going and I thought that why not joining them… Dresden was quite a beautiful city with all its old beautiful buildings. The city was totally destroyed in the WW2 but now it's perfectly renovated. They have built a lot of old buildings from big pile of stones to a they're old glory. Quite unbelievable.

From Dresden, an old palace

In Dresden we stayed with some local AIESECers place. Another of them, Ria I actually knew beforehand from a SUCCESS seminar in Finland:) It was also cool to meet her again and also to have a some local guides to show us around. We saw places that normal tourist wouldn’t have maybe found... Travelling with a train in Germany is normally very expensive but luckily there are some cheap offers when you just know them... E.g. we paid totally 60e for return train tickets from Berlin to Dresden for 4 persons...

Excellent, man has started to write something here! Somehow I started to feel that my year in Helsinki feels so normal to your years all over world: You and Jari in Germany, Tuure, Murmeli and Pike in India, Tomi in Sri Lanka, Piia in Sweden, Sanna in Chech Republic... Maybe next year then...

But it's os cool to hear small bits and peaces of your time there! Enjoy!

P.S. It's quite modern to have closet in the middle of the room. Did you check it from IKEA catalogues...? Hehehee...
