A quick update from UK

Hello now from UK!

I feel ashamed that I haven't been updating my blog for the last month... I guess I could say that I was busy, but I guess that's always an excuse... However, during the last 5-6 weeks there has been happening quite a lot in my life! So where to start...

I visited my good friend Stephanie in Belgium for a long weekend in the beginning of January. After that I was having my exams in TU Berlin which basically took 1-2 weeks of my time. Looking forward to get my grades!!! After that my best friends from Finland Anssi, Jani and Jari came to Berlin for a weekend long visit. That was such a cool time! During that weekend I also had my leaving party in Berlin. That was one of the best parties I have ever organized. I invited all my friends in Berlin which resulted a lot of people. It was really sad to say good byes to all of them but on the other hand it was cool to see all of them once more! Cool to see how many cool people I actually got to know during those 5-6 months in Berlin! I will definately miss all of them!

After my leaving party and after my friends left (sniff, sad) I travelled to Prague for 3 days with Julia, a really good friend of mine from Germany. The idea of that trip was to meet for the last time before I would be leaving from Germany and to see Prague! And it was really cool to meet her again and Prague was also cool! In Prague I also met a couple of other people I know from AIESEC. It was also really cool to see them...

After Prague trip I stayed still for a weekend in Berlin and said a couple of more really sad farewells... After those I had to already leave here to UK to start a CEED. When I was at the Schönefeld airport in Berlin I really realized how much I like Berlin. In those six months it had became a real home for me! I felt soooooo sad to leave it behind. Funnily more sad than when leaving from Finland... Feelings can be strange...

So now I have been in UK for 5 days. This time has quite much went for getting to know the AIESEC and especially the MC and how they work. I have taken part to one partnership meeting and got to know the new MC VP-ER from UK. Moreover I have learned already a lot from my coordinator Aled. Now I'm sure that it's going to be cool time here! Next week I will be travelling to WENALDS and after that already to EuroXPRO (a couple of AIESEC conferences, first one in Wales and latter one in Serbia)...

Sometimes it's funny how a person resist change in his/her life. Leaving from Berlin was so sad even in I was sure that the time here in UK and later in Finland were upt to be really cool. I guess that's a human nature, to settle down and get used to things. Eventually that's of course good... Najaa, no time to make philosophy now:)

Hopefully I find time to write more soon!!!

The weekend in Berlin was something which is really wonderful to remember. It came in the excleent spot with all the hassle in work, and it was the perfect spot to come and refresh all the thoughts! Thanks to be the host!

See you in couple of weeks, and say big hello to all the Finns in Cardiff! :D
