Some more updates from the last 3 months
From my last two postings you could get an image that my life is currently
a) very busy (as I'm not writing anymore)
b) full of running (as I am only writing about running)
Well, even if those two assumptions would not be totally false, they are neither totally right. Firstly my life during the last three months has been a busy experience. Secondly I have been running quite a bit. Well, now I try to open the curtain a bit and let you know what I've been up to during those months. Before that I would like apologize so many of you who have been reading my postings for not writing them. I would like to apologize also all my other friends and acquaintances who I have so much ignored during these months. It would be nice to chat more in MSN and Skype, write more posting in my blog, read more of your blog postings, write more emails and so on. But somehow life keeps me away doing these things. This doesn't however mean how much I miss so many of you! Well, let's tell you what that is that is keeping me away from keeping in touch...
I have to look my calender to remember all the things that I've been doing. Let's just dig a bit deeper in a chronological order:
7-9.9.2007 Year planning in Estonia
I traveled with my working colleagues at AIESEC in Finland (MC) to Estonia to do our team year plan for the working term till the end of May 2008. That was a very nice weekend even if it was full of work creating that plan. During the weekend I got again really interested about strategy and strategical planning is. It's really interesting to think what are the things you should do to make the change you would like to see. I think that eventually we created a really good plan. Let's see in May 2008 how we managed to fulfill it:)

AIESEC in Finland External Relations Task Force Meeting 14-15.9.2007
I gathered the brightest minds (:P for the rest) of AIESEC in Finland to talk about how to develop the ER in AIESEC in Finland. That weekend was a great learning experience as a facilitator for me and a success as work. We managed to gather a lot of great ideas together. I now will do my best with the other people to implement those ideas. Thank you participants for your contribution and thank you also for a nice time!

A week with my girlfriend Natascha 19-26.9.2007
My girlfriend Natascha visited me in Helsinki from Berlin for a week. Unfortunately during the working hours I had to work but next to that we managed to quite a lot of things. It was a really nice week. Thank you Natascha for that! I am looking forward to see you again!

AIESEC in Finland Exchange Functional Weekend 28-30.9.2007
During this weekend we gathered with the VPs and experienced members doing exchange in AIESEC in Finland to learn some more skills and theory about our functional area and to discuss about upcoming times and things needing to take place. The weekend was really nice and productive even if I was really tired as I finished a foundation report just during Friday evening. That's why I also needed to skip the Friday from the weekend. Thanks to all the participants for a nice weekend! Special thanks to Aksu, Piia, Sanni, Pak and Anja for facilitating! I had so much fun with you guys! You're great persons all!

Some of the participants working hard...
At home in Varkaus hunting and visiting family 4-6.10.2007
From Thursday till Saturday I spent at home visiting family and relatives. I also went hunting with my father: a tradition that we have had already for 6-7 years. It's always nice to go back home and see family, it's coming back to ones roots. I think it's a great way to get your thoughts away from work, it's a great way to relax. Thanks to my relatives even if they won't ever read this blog (there ain't that many people who know how to use a computer:) ).

We got a couple of birds with my father. The bird in the picture is "metso"...

Hunting is a lot about enjoying the beauty of nature. A scenery at a lake...
In London visiting Julia 12-14.10.2007
During this weekend I visited a good friend of mine in London. Julia is actually from Germany but was now doing a traineeship in London. This weekend was quite short as I arrived late on Friday evening to London and already had to leave early on Sunday back to Finland. However, I think that the weekend was really nice. Julia is one of my best friends and I hadn't seen her for half a year. We know each other for 4 years and last time we saw each other in Germany during my exchange studies. It was really nice to catch up with you Julia. It's always nice to spend time with you. I hope you're doing well in Vietnam! Remember to send me your blog address!

AIESEC Tampere Local AIESEC Seminar 19-21.10.2007
This weekend I had to work going to Tampere local AIESEC weekend. That weekend was a part of Tampere AIESEC recruitment. That is just the thing I like about my work: it doesn't feel like work. It was very nice to travel back to Tampere and travel together with so many familiar faces to the same, familiar cottage to spend a relaxed weekend with so many nice people. Thank you AIESEC Tampere for a nice weekend! I hope you liked the weekend as well...
Åland marathon 27-29.10.2007
On Saturday 27.10 I traveled with my "fellow runners"Petsa, Jarmo and Akseli to Ahvenanmaa (=Åland in Finnish) for Åland marathon. I wrote more about this trip in my earlier posting so I won't write now more about the actual run. The weekend otherwise was really nice and a great way to get away from my work.

AIESEC ACCESS seminar 2-4.11.2007
During the first weekend in November we had the first AIESEC in Finland national conference during the term 07-08 in Oulu. This was a really interesting experience for me. Usually in conferences I have been a delegate but in this conference I was now a facilitator and a member of the MC which gave me a lot of responsibility. I think that ACCESS was a great learning experience for me personally and next to that it was also a nice weekend. It was nice to see all the AIESEC members in Finland which I hadn't seen for a while. I think a special thanks for this weekend goes for our facilitator team who made the weekend for me such a nice learning experience. A very special hugs for my Team Supreme for making such a great work!

Weekend in Tampere with friends 16-18.11.2007
The last weekend I spent together with my studying friends "pojat" and their avecs:) It was a nice, relaxing weekend including e.g. playing board games, going to Mega Zone, dining out, playing pool and play Nintendo Wii. Wiiiii!!! It's always nice to spend time with this group, some what different than e..g spending time with my friends from AIESEC. This weekend was funny, though, as the avecs were also included. First time ever, that we had such a weekend with "pojat". I guess we're getting old:| Najaa, I guess it's kind of natural step in ones life on the way to be a "family guy". Brrhrhrhrhrhr (giving me creeps) , no, that's not for me yet:) Naturally my avec Natascha wasn't included as Tampere is pretty far from Berlin:)
Those were the main things happening in my life during the last three monts. Of course next to those things I've been working quite a lot and there would be a lot to tell about my work as well, but I think this time I will skip this. I hope you found this interesting. Greetings to all, roger and over.
